Cuisinart Supreme Grind Grinder, Ron Piltzer #coffee #caffeine

Long ago, Cuisinart had a reputation for making quality products with high integrity; today, unfortunately, that is not the case. This machine was purchased strictly for grinding beans for espresso. I have been a lover of espresso coffee now for over 50 years and know what is the correct coarseness beans need to be ground to create a true espresso...well, this machine on it's finest setting does not even come close to grinding the beans correctly, making it a total waste for us. Also, there is a small, spring loaded, button on the base that locks the grind container in automatically when pushed back into the machine...Ours does not work unless we press this button manually...not a real big deal, but definitely a sign of poor quality control on the part of Cuisinart. I highly recommend staying away from this product and personally have lost all faith in Cuisinart products.....
