I have had this coffee grinder for 9.5 years. During this time it has worked, every day, 1-2 grinds per day. There was one time it jammed up, and it was resolved by dis-assembly, deep cleaning, and putting back together. In nearly 10 years it has not failed a single part. I am a former barista (real, not starbuxx) and have been drinking my coffee without paper filters for 10+ years. Because of the way I brew I set the grinder for the largest setting and let it eat. The mix of larger and smaller grinds (inherent in design of this machine) is perfect for me. I get some small grinds (AAA turkish sized) into the pot but most stay in the medium to large grain size. Aesthetically this grinder is amazing. This grinder does not feel light weight and is not made with cheap plastics. It is heavy; substantial metal and glass were involved in the design.
