halfer's review of @urbancoffeeco #JQ: via - inc @Brewsmiths_JQ name check

As per my review for Urban Coffee CS, I tend to review coffee houses with a view to what it is like to remote work there. Church Street rates quite well on this scale, and the JQ also doesn't disappoint. The trick, which I think quite a lot of cafes don't get right, is having a lot of glass so that natural light can enter the building - it makes the space feel fresh and airy. The JQ goes one further than its city sister by having loads more art on the walls - plus jewellery made by local artists. I think the coffee is much the same here as the other place, but the staff are a bit more friendly - even though there is some rotation with Church Street. There are less issues with overcrowding, as there is less business traffic - but the downside is that it closes at 5pm rather than the worker-friendly 8pm.
