Agree on using the air to extract as much brew as possible! I owe Alan a lot. It is fascinating how entrepreneurs like Alan enrich our lives. Turn back the pages more than 25 years. My dearly loved father-in-law had just passed away. I remember hours of therapeutic fun throwing the aerobie with our son who was 8 at the time. I loved the fact we could play catch at such distance. Fast forward to 2007. I was looking for a good way to brew small quantities of coffee. I read about the Aeropress on coffeegeek and was struck by the comments (as well as knowledge that its inventor was the same as that of the Aerobee. I progressed through brewing as per instructions followed by an aha! moment when I first brewed at 195+°. I'd make two 16 oz thermos American style. These days I'm retired and usually make 8 oz of full immersion brewed at 200 ish. I stir for 20 seconds or so. Makes s...
