Saquarema is the name of the estate where this coffee is produced. WHY DID WE BUY IT? We fell in love with it’s caramelly sweetness and wanted to display this stunning fresh crop Brazil. ANYTHING ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW? This farm is one of the oldest farms in the Minas Gerais region, records for it go back as far as 200 years. In has been in Louis Eduardos family for the last 4 generations. The farm covers 389 hectares of land with 128 hectares planted with trees designated for organic production.The remainder of the land is used for cattle and sheep farming and silviculture. During harvest season the picking is done by 30 full time staff with a mixture of both hand picking and machines.
