I have bought this grinder after a lot of research and reading a tons of review, trust me. My budget was 300$ and i haved 3 choice : lelit pl53, ascaso isteel i1 and the rancilio rocky. The stepless adjustement was very importan for me cause i like the micro adjustment and this grinder is for espresso only (forget this grinder for making espresso to french press !). The rocky was only stepped and cost more. So i discard this one. The lelit was interesting but after a tons of review i choose the isteel for two main reason : 1-The component of the grinder is completly in brass, no plastic in the burr section. 2-54 mm flat burr with a low rpm, the coffee is never "hot". To set the grind sweet spot took me one pound of coffee.
