LOVE this idea, I have had MS for over 15 years now and sadly there is still an under-awareness as well as a clear distinction between Multiple Sclerosis and Musular Dystrophy. I truly feel that if Starbucks can put orange lids on their cups during MS Awareness Week, that would make a huge impact on questions, leading to knowledge, leading to more awareness. I also believe that MS Awareness Week should be a month long just like other causes such as Breast Cancer, simply because MS effects so many at any age, while for the most part Breast Cancer is mostly women and commonly at a later age but most of all because Breast Cancer has the awareness and collective activism that has finally started making strides to bring about a cure, it's time Multiple Sclerosis was put in that same category.
