President's Message (December 2012 - Coffee Reporter) As the year winds down, NCA member service continues to ramp up. A second Coffee Summit logged participation that topped last year’s highly successful rollout. Consumption promotion was back on the radar, with a new communications campaign built around coffee as a life-enhancing beverage. NCA expanded member involvement in its Scientific Affairs Program with wider participation and enhanced member perks. Market research continued to leapfrog industry trends with a new report on the single-serve format. And, beyond all that, it was business as usual – keeping members well informed, well positioned and well equipped to maximize their business success.
