The Starbucks Foundation Donates $100,000 for Louisiana Flood Relief

The Starbucks Foundation will donate $100,000 to the American Red Cross to aid the relief efforts in response to the devastating rain and flooding in southern Louisiana. In addition, the company has made an in-kind donation of packaged food, which American Red Cross staffers and volunteers will distribute to impacted residents and first responders. “We continue to keep those impacted by the flooding in our thoughts and prayers,” said Derrick Pratt, Starbucks regional vice president. “We will support disaster relief efforts and help the people in the region during this difficult time.” Customers and partners (employees) who wish to aid in the recovery may text “LAFLOODS” to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief or visit the American Red Cross website .
