Kaltia Wave vs. Hario V60 pour-over. Any benefit of the flat-bottom bed, restrictor holes & wave filter or just HYPE?

But, inside the design differences are obvious. Kalita is a truncated cone design with its flat bed bottom and three restrictor holes. Also the horizontal ridges around the cone. The Hario V60 on the other hand has the ‘controversial’ full cone design, with the unrestricted hole on the bottom. Plus, the characteristic vertical spiral ridges line the cone.
