We really enjoyed the Vendaval last year, and we’re very excited to be able to continue on with the relationship. This year we bought their white honey processed red catuai. Having farmed coffee for about 15 years, the Calderons established their own mill, Los Angeles, in 2009. By having control over the processing at both the wet and dry milling stages, Ricardo ensures that the highest standards are adhered to at all times. Vendaval placed 21st in the Cup of Excellence this year, further establishing the Calderons at the forefront of quality Costa Rican coffee.
