Producer Marvin Robles has a good look and grows really good coffee.

Producer: Marvin Robles Marvin is definitely a bit of a renegade — he grows coffee in his backyard then processes it in his garage. We buy every bean he’ll sell us, because his quality is incredible. Plus, he’s the most cheerful guy any of us have ever met. Read more Region: Frailes, Tarrazú Valley, Costa Rica Drive through the gorgeous Tarrazú Valley and you’ll eventually get to Marvin’s house. Pull up to the gate, honk the horn and he’ll let you in. Just behind his house, the valley swoops downward, where Bourbon and Caturra trees mix with the Costa Rican jungle.
