As many of our customers know, The Roasterie is so much more than a roaster of the world’s best coffee. We are a member of the Kansas City community and we pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service and a passion for excellence. That’s why we make sure to hire those who share a love not just for coffee but also for the surrounding community. An excellent example of this can be found in Mike Valent, the Director of Operations for The Roasterie Cafés. We sat down with Mike to learn more about him and what led him here to The Roasterie. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Mike graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Finance. As someone who loves to travel, Mike has lived in Hawaii, Michigan, Kentucky, and Ohio.
