Thinking about roasting your coffee in-house? My thoughts @coffeeretailer

The choice to roast or not roast should be looked at from both a business and a personal perspective. This might be something you've always wanted to do or maybe you love a challenge. These are perfectly good reasons for roasting in house. I think this is the perfect time for introspection and self analysis. You were faced with many tough decisions before you opened your coffee shop, some of them you made based on experience, others on pure gut instinct, and some were just plain entrepreneurial bravado. But now, having gone through the experience of opening, you have a better understanding of those capabilities and your threshold for risk. You also understand the realities of time required to learn a new skill, and at least a working understanding of the time it takes to be develop proficiency with your newly acquired skill.
