@TruckersSavings Sorry so late. No electric, total old fashioned. Propane burner and a bialetti moka express
This is the pot used all over Italy in every home for eons, or so it seems. It makes The Best espresso. Just know the rules. Never use soap on or in this pot. Rinse with hot water. The more you use it, the better the caffe. Do not tamp the grounds using this pot. There is no need. Understand that by "3 cups" they mean three espressos. So the pot actually fills to around six ounces, total. Try Lavassa's el Gusto here. As I recall it's 70/30 robusta/arabica. In this pot and in the US, it is perfect. It should take less than five minutes on electric stoves, 3 or 4 on gas, to brew. Watch the handle is off the burner or it may burn. IMO This little wonder - for less than a date night movie - makes superlative coffee. And it is quite an endearing little pot. Downright charming. I've had mine since 1975! And I can't imagine starting my day with anything else.
