Saeco Poemia Espresso Machine, Henk Coetzee

I got one of these for my office with some loyalty points. The few attempts at steaming milk showed the machine up as being very messy. Despite the pressurised portafilter, the shots run very fast unless the grind is spot on for the machine. Unfortunately it's also easy to choke with a too-fine grind. I got given another one which I have at home, while my Breville is away for repairs (another sad story). I've been working to get the best out of the machine and got a few halfway decent shots out of it. Overall, it's a messy machine. Much more messy than a Kenwood KMix I used to have. I think it was sent to teach me to appreciate better equipment.
