I don't remember what I paid but it was around $100 I think off Amazon. I really like this grinder - it is used 6-7 times a week and I've never had an issue after one year. It is very simple to put together. Not a bother to clean. By twisting the the reservior you can select the texture of the grind (which I haven't noticed to be too significant). Some times if the beans are oily they will stick to the inside of the reservior but that's no issue. I usually weigh the amount of beans I'll grind and pour them in the hopper and press start leaving the "timer" go as long as possible. I usually grind 60g for my pot and that normally will fill the hopper and use a minute to grind. It's a great piece of equipment for someone who likes to grind their own beans. It would be MAGIC if they produced a grinder that weighed the beans once they were ground - so you could set it to 50g or ...
